Help More. Judge Less.

When we see someone that needs help, sometimes we find it easier to judge them instead of help them. We think that they should be able to figure things out themselves. Judging usually stems from insecurities that we have ourselves and if we notice that someone else might not have it all together, in some way that can make us feel better about ourselves. But, what I have found, is that helping another person usually makes me feel better than judging another person ever has. The truth is that we don’t know the whole story. And if we see a way that we can actually help, why not do it? A basic human need is connection. A great way to connect is to lose the judgement and help.
