We Need Each Other
When I first took donations to the Center for Respite Care about year ago, Carol told me about the meal program. I thought, that’s something I can share with my friends that like to cook. Cooking has never really been my thing. But after I left, I felt a strong pull to participate in the meal program. So I asked for help. And now a year later I serve meals to the clients regularly with two friends (Tiffany & Lauren) that actually like to cook! We have found a great system to work together to plan, cook, and serve the meal. This is why we need each other. We were not meant to do it all alone. Life is better together.
The Center for Respite Care is always looking for groups to regularly serve meals. Find your group of friends that can work together to make this happen. You will be glad you did.
